*** SPECIAL TIMES FOR SPECIAL NEEDS FAMILIES - We recognize that many families have children with special needs who could benefit greatly from these events however, may not be able to attend as they may not do well in crowds. We will be opening at 9:00 am on SATURDAY for special needs families to attend as our guests. This first hour will be for you and of course siblings are welcome.

***SPONSORSHIP AND BOOTH OPPORTUNITIES*** - For the first time ever we are opening our events up for sponsors and we are offering space for booths. For further information please contact Julie Cole:

***CHARITY PARTNERS*** In addition to helping fund one of the largest animal rescues in North America (Little Rays Nature Centers), a portions of proceeds will be going to the Sloth Conservation Foundation & to the Wildlife Conservation Society. While these organizations will receive funding from these events, we also encourage everyone to check them out and give donations towards their excellent conservation efforts if you are able.

*** WHERE THE ANIMALS COME FROM – Animals at this event come from Little Ray's Nature Center which is the largest exotic animal rescue in Canada and provides sanctuary for hundreds of seized and unwanted pets until the best long term solutions can be found. About 80% of the animals in our care are unwanted pets or seized animals and we do not take animals from the wild to utilize in these programs. We do have some animals that were born at our facility or other facilities in Canada but 100% of the animals we receive calls about that are eligible to be released are released 100% of the time. Other animals in our care that are appropriate for programs such as these are utilized for fun, thought provoking, educational programs promoting responsible pet ownership and conservation. We hope you have a chance to see firsthand what we are all about.
